Our School Rules

Our school rules are called 'Golden Rules' and help children look after one another and behave appropriately in school.  We think that these rules are fundamental to a happy and safe environment.

The rules are:

Do be gentle,

don't hurt anybody

Do be kind and helpful,

don't hurt anybody's feelings

Do be honest,

don't cover up the truth

Do work hard,

don't waste time

Do look after property,

don't waste or damage things

Do listen to people,

don't interrupt

If any child is finding the rules difficult to follow we will always contact families, in order to get support to plan ways to help them improve.  At the beginning of every school year each class makes their own 'Class Agreement' which is based on the school rules.  The agreement is displayed in the classroom plus a copy is sent home to share.  Click on the files at the bottom of this page to see the Orange 'Class Agreement'

Every week all those children who have kept the school rules are awarded with a special 'Golden Time' session.  Anyone who has broken a rule will miss part of this special activity or play.
