In the Reception classes we aim to deepen children's experiences by addressing all areas of learning through well planned and imaginative activities which are linked to the early learning goals. The 6 areas of learning are as follows:

The role play area that is pictured to the right is linked with their topic. This area is changed regularly and has included a Doctor's Surgery, a Fire Station and a Hospital.
We love to bring the outside world into the classroom with lots of visitors, such as the firefighters. We also visit a local farm in the Spring Term- we have been lucky enough to see all sorts of baby animals.
