School Hours 
Morning Session 8.45 - 12 noon
Afternoon Session 1p.m. - 3.15p.m.
School begins at 9a.m. but children can come into their classroom any time from 8.50a.m. There is no school bell and you are welcome to come into the classroom with your child. Please come in through the classroom door rather than the main entrance. On wet days with wet or muddy shoes it is best to use the toilet door.
Assembly 10.10a.m.
Morning Playtime 10.30-10.50a.m.
Lunchtime 12 noon-1p.m.
There is a celebration assembly every Thursday morning at 9.10. Parents are invited to come along to celebrate birthdays, smiley face and star of the week awards.
Attendance and Punctuality 
It is very important that your child arrives at school on time and that s/he attends regularly.
If your child is ill or absent for any reason, please telephone the school on the first day and give an indication of when your child is likely to return to school. If your child needs to visit the doctor or dentist, please send a note to the class teacher. All absences have to be authorised by the school and declared on your child's annual report to parents.
If your child has to be collected from school for a specific reason, please come to the school office first. If you need a friend or relative to collect your child from school please send a note which authorises them to do so, or contact the school office in the morning. This will help to ensure the safety of your child.
Unfortunately some parents have to take their holidays in school time. Although this is not encouraged, up to 10 school days may be taken per year as authorised absence with the agreement of the Head Teacher. Leave of absence forms are available from the school office.
Change of Address
Please inform the school of any changes regarding a new address, telephone numbers, work numbers or emergency contact numbers.
