At Bordon Infant School our children are given lots of opportunities to develop as citizens.  We believe that children need to know about their rights, to develop respect for every person and to realize that they have responsibility to others (RRR).  Our Home-School Agreement has been developed with the children through our Pupil Voice, the school council.

Our School Rules are called 'Golden Rules' and help children look after one another and behave appropriately in school.  We think that these rules are fundamental to a happy and safe environment.    If any child is finding the rules difficult to follow we will always contact families, in order to get your support to plan ways to help them improve.  At the beginning of every year each class makes their own 'Class Agreement, (please click here), which is based on the school rules.  The agreement is displayed in the classroom plus a copy is sent home to share.

Every week all those children who have kept the school rules are awarded with a special 'Golden Time' session.  Anyone who has broken a rule will miss part of this special activity or play.  We find that a positive approach to behaviour works well.
